Houseloop
About Houseloop
We’re building the end of
“did you remember?”
Houseloop started with a simple, exhausting observation: in most homes, one person quietly holds the entire mental load. They remember the dentist, the permission slip, the allergy refill, the birthday gift, the thing the school emailed about. Not because they want to, but because if they don’t, no one will.
Why we exist
Every household runs on invisible work: noticing what needs doing, deciding who should do it, and following up until it’s actually done. That work rarely gets shared, because sharing it usually means becoming the family’s reminder service, which is just more work for the same person.
Houseloop exists to change that. You capture the thing once. You hand it to whoever should own it. And you see it through to done, without nagging, without spreadsheets, and without it all living in one person’s head.
Our mission
To make household follow-through shared, visible, and calm, so the load stops falling on one person by default.
What we believe
Capture should take a sentence.
Speaking or typing one line should be enough. No projects, no setup, no productivity-app ceremony.
Handing off shouldn’t create more work.
The person you hand a task to shouldn’t need an account, a tutorial, or a reminder to go check the app. They tap a link and see exactly what’s theirs.
Done is the only metric that matters.
Not tasks created or streaks kept. Whether the thing actually happened, and whether one person can finally stop carrying it alone.
Who’s behind Houseloop
Houseloop is an independent product, built by people who know the juggle firsthand. We’re small, we move quickly, and we read every note sent to support@houseloop.app. If something would make your household calmer, we want to hear it.
