A baby feeding tracker for both parents

A baby feeding tracker logs each feed so you know how much and when your baby last ate. Houseloop tracks bottle amounts in ounces, nursing by left or right side with per-side timing, and pumping. The moment you log a feed, the other parent gets a notification on their phone, so you both see the same feeding history without asking.

Bottle amounts in ounces

Log each bottle by amount so you can see exactly how much your baby took and how much is left in the day. The running feeding history answers "how much has she had?" without guessing.

Nursing by left or right side

Track breastfeeding by which side you fed on and how long each side lasted, so you always know which breast to start on next time and can watch that the sides stay roughly even.

Pumping and supply, together

Log pumping sessions alongside feeds, and keep a milk and formula inventory with use-by dates so you know how much stored milk you actually have on hand.

The other parent sees every feed

When you log a feed in real time, your partner gets a notification like "Dad logged feed (4.5 oz)." No group text, no "did you feed her already?" You both read from the same log.

How do you track bottle, breastfeeding, and pumping in one place?

Houseloop logs all three feeding types in the same timeline. For bottles, you enter the amount in ounces. For nursing, you record which side you fed on (left or right) and the duration on each side. For pumping, you log the session so it sits in the same history as feeds and diapers.

Because everything lives in one feed log, you can glance at the timeline and see the last feed, how long ago it was, and whether it was a bottle, a nursing session, or a pump. That is the number you actually need at 3 a.m., and it is right at the top.

How does my partner see the feeds I log?

Feeding is a two-person job, and a tracker only helps if both parents read the same log. When you log a feed in Houseloop in real time, the other parent gets a push notification on their phone the moment it happens, and the feed appears in their timeline too.

This works on the free tier. The only requirements are that your partner has the app installed with notifications turned on, and that the feed is logged in real time (back-dated entries do not send the alert). It syncs across both phones on web, iOS, and Android.

Can it help us split night feeds instead of just recording them?

Yes. Beyond logging, Houseloop has Baby Duty Autopilot: you set who is on duty, and the next feed reminder routes to that parent instead of waking the whole house. You can set recurring nightly shifts or have two parents alternate whole nights.

There is also a parent recovery side: log your own water, meals, meds, pumping, and rest, and use "protect my nap" to hand the baby to your partner for two hours. The feeding tracker is the start; the same app helps you actually share the load.

Questions

Is the baby feeding tracker free?

Yes. Logging bottle amounts, nursing by side, and diapers, plus the notification to the other parent and Baby Duty, are all on the free tier. Sleep tracking every night waking, growth, milestones, trends charts, and the Daycare Sheet are part of the paid Plus upgrade, which has a 7-day trial.

Can I track breastfeeding by left and right side?

Yes. You log which side you nursed on and the duration for each side, so you know which breast to start on next and can keep the two sides roughly balanced over the day.

Does it track how many ounces my baby drank?

Yes. For bottle and formula feeds you enter the amount in ounces, and the running log shows each feed so you can total up how much your baby has taken.

Can I log pumping sessions?

Yes. Pumping is logged in the same timeline as feeds. You can also keep a milk and formula inventory with use-by dates so you know how much stored milk you have available.

Will my partner get notified every time I feed the baby?

Yes, for feeds logged in real time. When you log a feed, your partner receives a phone notification such as "Dad logged feed (4.5 oz)" and the feed shows up in their timeline. They need the app installed with notifications on.
